OASIS Informal Screenings
October 2005 to March 2006
ZKM, Karlsruhe
October 13th 2005
Ed. by Tabea Lurk
ZKM Lecture Hall
The evening centered on the question of the reciprocal reflection of the acting body in the medium of video and presented the way the two interested. Here, representation and depiction of the body and dance actions play a role as do the underlying understanding of the media. Since the early days of Media Art, the three elements of corporeality, presentation (performance) and video system are often seen as part of a joint media system.
It is a triad that has emerged as one of the underlying motifs of creative art work in media and constant new stimuli have led to it being expanded, reinterpreted and debated.
With works, among others, by Chris Ziegler (Germany), Claudia Robles (Col), Skip Sweeney (USA), Robert Zagone (USA), Peer Bode (USA)
