Automatic Indexing
This section describes three automatic indexing mechanisms implemented in the OASIS Archive system:
In this section the implementation of Automatic Speech Recognition (→ ASR System) is presented.
In this section the implementation of Optical Character Recognition (→ OCR) is presented and the technical use of OCR is refered.
Face Recognition System is being implemented to support automatic content-based retrieval. Apart from code developed for OASIS project, the system uses two external packages: face detection and comparison. For initial pre-processing the mplayer is required for video conversion and → ImageMagick for image manipulation.
